Location: Chicago, IL 60602
- Onsite role.

Duration: 6+ Months

Rate: $40/hr on w2 without benefits

Reporting to the Manager of Web Production and Front End Development, Ted Canji, the Senior Optimizely Developer is responsible for the summary of the overall function of the position and the department it sits in.

The Senior Optimizely Developer will be held accountable to the following responsibilities:

• CPS seeks to contract with a highly experienced .Optimizely developer to work with in-house developers to upgrade Optimizely, program custom templates and themeable blocks, analyze and troubleshoot existing code, and provide guidance on best practices.

In order to be successful and achieve the above responsibilities, the Senior Optimizely Developer must possess the following qualifications:

• Graduation from an accredited college or university with a Bachelor's degree in computer science (or equivalent)

• Minimum of 5 years of professional experience
• 2 years Optimizely/Episerver experience preferred

• Optimizely Digital Experience Cloud Platform, C#, ASP.NET MVC (Razor Engine), SQL Server, JavaScript, JQuery, React, CSS3, HTML5, SASS, Webkit, Webpack, Microsoft Azure, Azure Dev Ops, Pipelines, Continuous Integrations, Automated Testing. Strong Front End skills required.
• Strong consulting and communication skills
• Team player with the ability to adapt to changing situations
• Work independently and manage technical requirements
• Excellent at both front and back end development
• Write clean, optimized, well-commented and easily digestible code
• Strong debugging, problem solving and investigative skills
• Write technical documentation, if needed
