Onsite/Remote: Onsite Position

As a Senior Software Engineer for John Deere in Chicago, IL, you will:

• Research, design, develop, test and implement the appropriate microservice solutions for Deere digital products using mainstream programming languages and database skills;
• Collaborate globally;
• Participate in discussions with core technical team and extended functional teams to understand technical requirements required to satisfy business requirements;
• Understand applications development environment, database, data management and infrastructure capabilities and constraints;
• Analyze, translate, and define business requirements into technical solutions;
• Use programming skills necessary to create and maintain applications.

• 4 years of experience in design and develop backend microservices using Java and J2EE technologies, and create and consume RESTful Web services
• 4 years of experience in ensure code quality using TDD approach of development and automate test cases using JUnit and Selenium
• 4 years of experience in deploy code from development environment to QA, Staging, and Production environment using CI/CD pipeline to build and deploy features implemented by teams

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related field plus 4 years related experience.

$140,000 - $150,000 per year + Benefits
