Fitch Group is currently seeking a Senior Full Stack Engineer, Data Platforms
based out of our Chicago office.

How You’ll Make an Impact:

• Work as part of an agile team in design, development, and deployment of enterprise-scale web applications.
• Build an internal portal application using frontend, micro-services, and event-driven architecture.
• Develop service-oriented applications to support the frontend and produce/consume messaging topics.
• Collaborate with Dev Ops and other squads on the CI/CD pipeline.
• Develop service-oriented applications to support the frontend and produce/consume messaging topics.

You May be a Good Fit if:

• You hold a Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
• You have 5+ years of experience in software engineering, with 3+ years hands‑on experience with Python.
• Experience with AWSdata services(Glue,Lambda, S3, DynamoDB) and frameworks - PySpark, Pandas, and similar fullstack technologies.
• You have experience with relational database technologies such as PostgreSQL, Redshift or other similar. Strong SQL proficiency with demonstrated ability to optimize queries and tune performance across relational and analytical databases.
• Experience with streaming technologies (Kafka) and workflow orchestration tools (Airflow).
• Practical experience with data governance and exposure to data mesh architectures or data virtualization tools, cloud data warehouses and modern table formats.
• Demonstrated ability to design and build REST or GraphQL APIs with integrated data/ML features.

• 5+ years building highly performant and resilient data pipelines & full-stack applications.
• Comfortable working as a senior individual contributor in a collaborative dynamic team environment.
