Chicago, Illinois Remote Local Full Time $170k - $200k Ever Commerce is a publicly traded SaaS company that powers over 745,000 service-based businesses globally with software solutions across healthcare, home services, and wellness looking for a Lead Software Engineer in Chicago, IL. Their Ever Health division supports 72,000+ healthcare practices through a suite of products focused on EHR, patient engagement, clearinghouse services, and revenue cycle management.

This is hands-on, focused on building AI-powered workflow software for healthcare billing teams. The position combines full-stack engineering, product ownership, event-driven systems, and AI-agent orchestration. Their ideal candidate already has strong software engineering fundamentals (experience with Python, JavaScript, AWS, SQL, and building AI agents or workflows) along with a product mindset, healthcare RCM experience, and a willingness to challenge assumptions and help define what should be built, not just how to build it.
