Salary Range: $55,000.00 To $75,000.00 Annually

About the Role:

As an Application Developer based in the United States, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining software applications that meet the evolving needs of our business and clients. Your role will involve collaborating closely with cross-functional teams including product managers, designers, and other developers to deliver high-quality, scalable, and efficient software solutions. You will analyze user requirements and translate them into technical specifications, ensuring that applications are robust, secure, and user-friendly.

Additionally, you will be involved in troubleshooting, debugging, and optimizing existing applications to enhance performance and reliability. Ultimately, your contributions will directly impact the success of our digital products and the satisfaction of our end users.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
• Strong understanding of software development lifecycle (SDLC) and agile methodologies.
• Experience with relational databases and writing efficient SQL queries.
• Familiarity with version control systems such as Git.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
• Knowledge of front-end frameworks like React, Angular, or Vue.js.
• Understanding of containerization and orchestration tools such as Docker and Kubernetes.
• Experience with automated testing frameworks and continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines.
• Familiarity with Dev Ops practices and infrastructure as code.

Responsibilities:

• Develop, test, and deploy new software applications and features based on business requirements.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to gather and analyze application requirements and translate them into technical designs.
• Maintain and improve existing applications by identifying and fixing bugs, optimizing performance, and implementing enhancements.
• Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code following best practices and coding standards.
• Participate in code reviews, team meetings, and contribute to continuous improvement of development processes.

Skills:

The required skills enable you to design and build reliable and efficient applications by applying solid programming principles and understanding database interactions. Your proficiency in multiple programming languages allows you to adapt to different project requirements and technologies. The preferred skills enhance your ability to develop modern, scalable applications that leverage cloud infrastructure and automation tools, improving deployment speed and system resilience.

Collaboration and communication skills are essential as you work closely with team members and stakeholders to ensure alignment and deliver high-quality software. Continuous learning and adaptability are key, as you will regularly update your technical expertise to incorporate emerging technologies and best practices into your daily work. The candidate must be proficient in AI-Assisted coding and must be able to debug applications that they didn't build themselves using AI.
