Pay Range: $46.07 - $68.64 per hour

Rush is seeking a Senior Salesforce Developer to design, develop, and optimize complex applications, workflows, and integrations across our Salesforce ecosystem. In this role, you’ll partner with business stakeholders, architects, and technical teams to translate business requirements into scalable solutions that support organizational needs and enhance the user experience.

You’ll lead development efforts using Salesforce Lightning, Apex, Triggers, and Lightning Web Components, while supporting integrations, automated testing, troubleshooting, and production deployments. You’ll also contribute to Agile development and release management, recommend solutions to mitigate technical risks, and mentor junior developers.

The ideal candidate brings extensive Salesforce development experience, strong problem-solving skills, and the ability to lead complex technical work from requirements through implementation. Salesforce Developer certification is required, with experience in Service Cloud, Marketing Cloud, Salesforce Analytics, or Mule Soft considered a plus.

• Communicates effectively within the RUMC (Rush University Medical Center) organization across all teams.

• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or 5+ years related IT work experience.
• 5+ years’ experience in Salesforce.
• 5+ years’ experience documenting requirements, designing in a Salesforce enterprise environment.
• Salesforce Developer Certification.
• Strong ability to understand requirements and how the Salesforce platform can provide effective solutions.
• Extensive experience with web services: executing calls and interpreting responses (REST or SOAP).
