This position involves managing Java/Java EE application development and providing expertise throughout the full software development lifecycle. The role extends from concept and design to testing, focusing on creating and maintaining robust backend services.

• Define site objectives by analyzing user requirements and envisioning system features and functionality.
• Design and develop user interfaces for internet/intranet applications by setting expectations and feature priorities.
• Determine design methodologies and tool sets to complete programming using various languages and software products.
• Design and conduct tests to ensure application quality and performance.
• Troubleshoot development and production problems across multiple environments and operating platforms.
• Support users by developing comprehensive documentation and assistance tools.

Experience:

• 10+ years of hands‑on development experience with JAVA/Spring Boot.
• Hands‑on experience in deploying applications into AWS.
• Experience in designing and developing applications using Java EE platforms.
• Experience with the Spring Framework and at least one popular web framework (e.g., JSF, Wicket, GWT, Spring MVC).
• Object‑Oriented analysis and design using common design patterns.

• A strong understanding of cloud and event‑driven architecture, microservices, and DDD architectural style.
• Strong understanding of Terraform.
• Excellent knowledge of Relational Databases, SQL, and ORM technologies (JPA2, Hibernate).
• Proficiency in Java J2EE and Hibernate.

• Experience with Event‑Driven Architecture (EDA), particularly Kafka.
• Familiarity with Kubernetes or Open Shift (Red Hat).
• Strong skills in Java, Spring, and Springboot for creating microservices.
