The SAP S/4

HANA Development Lead will lead the technical development domain within the global ERP platform.

The role combines hands‑on technical leadership, innovation, team development, and delivery excellence across SAP S/4

HANA initiatives, upgrades, integrations, and future transformation programs.

In this role, the candidate will modernize development practices, introduce automation and AI capabilities, strengthen the existing development team, and ensure scalable, high‑quality delivery aligned with ERP strategy.

Lead S4

HANA development activities across enhancements, integrations, custom solutions, and strategic initiatives.

Provide hands‑on technical guidance and architectural direction for development teams.

Ensure development quality, maintainability, performance, and compliance with SAP best practices.

Support future S/4

HANA upgrades and transformation initiatives.

Collaborate closely with Product Managers, Functional Leads, Architects, PMO, and IS teams.

Drive innovation across the SAP development landscape.

Evaluate and introduce modern SAP technologies, frameworks, and tools.

Promote adoption of SAP Business Technology Platform (BTP), automation solutions, and AI‑assisted development capabilities.

Identify opportunities to improve productivity, development quality, testing efficiency, and delivery speed.

Establish modern engineering practices and a continuous improvement culture.

Strengthen the professional capabilities of the existing development team.

Coach and mentor developers through hands‑on guidance and knowledge sharing.

Define development standards, technical guidelines, and best practices.

Build technical competency in emerging SAP technologies and modern development approaches.

Foster a collaborative, learning‑oriented environment.

Lead development planning, estimations, resource allocation, and execution.

Support multiple parallel initiatives while maintaining delivery quality.

Manage technical risks and proactively propose mitigation actions.

Ensure effective knowledge transfer and sustainable solutions.

• - 9+ years of SAP development experience.
• - Minimum 3 years leading SAP development teams or technical delivery teams.
• - Proven hands‑on experience in SAP S/4
  
  HANA development.
• - Strong background in end‑to‑end Build activities.
• - Experience in manufacturing or process‑industry environments.

• - Expert knowledge of ABAP core principles modern ABAP syntax (7.6+), OO, enhancements, and SAP extensibility concepts. Etc.
• - Excellent knowledge of performance optimization.
• - Strong experience with ABAP on HANA: CDS Views, AMDP.
• - Integration development experience.
• - Application Development knowledge: RESTful ABAP Programming Model (RAP), SAP Gateway, OData services, UI5.
• - Familiarity with SAP
• - Understanding of Clean Core principles and modern SAP architecture.

• - Demonstrated ability to lead and influence technical teams.
• - Strong mentoring and coaching skills.
• - Excellent stakeholder management capabilities.
• - Ability to operate effectively within a global organization.

• - Excellent written and spoken English.
• - Experience working directly with international business and IT teams.
• - International big companies- a must
• - Working hours:
  
  8.5 hours daily (up to 180 a month)

• - Experience supporting SAP S/4
  
  HANA Upgrade programs.
• - Experience in SAP transformation initiatives.
• - Experience with SAP BTP extensions and cloud‑native development.
• - Experience introducing AI, automation, Dev Ops, or modern engineering practices.
• - Previous exposure to global Rollout projects
