AI Application Developer

Sperton is a recruitment and HR consultancy firm operating across multiple countries. We’re hiring a developer to build AI-powered applications for our existing platforms, new products, and our clients. You’ll connect LLMs to APIs, databases, and business systems to deliver agent workflows that automate real work in production.

- Design and build AI agent applications and multi-step workflows that automate business tasks.
- Add AI features to existing Sperton applications and client systems.
- Support our existing team and ongoing tech work, contributing to live projects alongside current development team.
- Integrate LLMs, external APIs, databases, and third-party platforms.
- Implement RAG, knowledge retrieval, and structured data extraction.
- Build reliable, secure systems with proper testing, logging, and monitoring.
- Turn business needs into practical solutions with stakeholders and dev teams.
- Evaluate new AI tools and frameworks and bring in what works.

- 4+ years in full-stack or at least backend development.
- Strong Python or Node.js/Type Script, with REST API and third-party integration experience.
- Hands-on experience building LLM-based apps or AI agents (OpenAI or other providers).
- Familiarity with Lang Chain, Lang Graph, CrewAI, or OpenAI Agents SDK.
- Understanding of tool calling, structured outputs, context management, and RAG.

- Experience with PostgreSQL, MongoDB, or similar.
- Track record of deploying and debugging production applications.
- Experience building recruitment or sales agents (a plus, not required)
- Word Press development, especially adding AI features to existing Word Press sites (a plus, not required)
