YMCA is hiring part time Fitness Attendants to join the team. This integral position on the Fitness Team could be your first step to a building a career in fitness, or the next step in your fitness journey.

Salary- $20.00 per hour and looking for help during opening shifts and/or closing shifts

• Develop, motivate and maintain professional relationships with members by providing personal attention to all members and guests using a proactive approach.
• Be an active marketing resource by discussing and promoting the YMCA fitness programs with our members.
• Provide basic assistance and guidance to users of the fitness equipment when needed as you acknowledge all members throughout the facilities.
• Ensure a safe environment through constant circulation of the fitness and gymnasium facilities and promptly responding to safety and emergency situations.
• Support the YMCA’s mission and center operations.

• A high school diploma or GED.
• The ability to Lift/Carry up to 50 lbs. and push >50 lbs.
• A passion for and obtain general knowledge of preventative health and fitness programs and philosophy.
• Current American Red Cross CPR/AED and First Aid certifications or must obtain within thirty days of employment.
