Role Description

This is a part-time on-site role located at Jason Heyward Baseball Academy in Chicago, IL. The Head Baseball Coach will be responsible for developing and implementing baseball training programs, guiding players through practice sessions, and coaching teams during games. The coach will also provide mentorship to players, effectively communicate with players and staff, and ensure adherence to academy standards and policies.

Qualifications

• Skills in Coaching Baseball and Baseball
• Strong Communication and Coaching skills
• Experience in Training athletes
• Ability to inspire and motivate players
• Previous coaching experience is highly desirable
• Knowledge of safety and best practices in sports coaching
• Bachelor's degree in Physical Education, Sports Management, or related field is beneficial
• Spanish-speaking a plus
