Squash Instructor

Responsibilities & Requirements:

• Instruct members using a variety of teaching methods tailored to different learning styles.
• Guide members and guests on techniques to improve their skills and health during lessons.
• Teach scheduled classes and private lessons punctually.
• Respond promptly and professionally to member and guest inquiries.
• Provide excellent customer service, including ongoing observation and feedback during classes.
• Availability during weekdays, evenings, and weekends is required.
• Current nationally recognized Squash certification is preferred but not mandatory.
• Minimum of one year of teaching experience, preferably in a college or corporate setting.
• Assist the Head Professional with squash programming; additional hours may be available based on participation.
• Part-time to full-time hours are available, with compensation based on lessons taught and experience.

Requirements:

• Willingness to work up to 25 hours weekly, including daytime, evenings, and weekends.
• Ability to sit, stand, walk, and reach comfortably.
• Ability to work effectively with all age groups and build positive relationships with members.
• Friendly, outgoing, energetic, and positive attitude.
• Strong organizational, time management, and communication skills.
• Must be able to work in the United States and reside within 25 miles of Chicago.
