This role involves coaching student-athletes to develop skills, attitude, and sportsmanship necessary for successful volleyball play. The coach will foster discipline, teamwork, and fair play.

• Assist the head coach with overseeing the varsity girls’ (fall) and boys’ (spring) volleyball teams.
• Instruct and demonstrate volleyball skills and techniques.
• Coordinate practice and game schedules with the Athletic Director and communicate with athletes.
• Maintain volleyball equipment, uniforms, and inventory.
• Travel with teams to away games and ensure safety and supervision of athletes before, during, and after games and practices.
• Make recommendations for equipment and supplies.
• Review weekly eligibility lists to ensure academic eligibility.
• Ensure athletes are in proper physical condition throughout the season.
• Model sportsmanship and enforce standards of conduct.
• Maintain a safe environment and stay compliant with paperwork and IHSA requirements.
• Represent the school professionally in all interactions.
• Perform other duties as assigned by the Athletic Director or head coach.

• Experience with middle school, high school, or collegiate volleyball.
• Current CPR/Emergency Cardiac Care certification.
