• Plan logistical movements across all relevant modes (road, rail, sea, intermodal, parcel, air).
• Collaborate with freight forwarders for all marine shipments.
• Collaborate with rail companies for rail shipments.
• Coordinate tendering activities leveraging Mercury Gate and SAP (North America). Other regions will work with local warehouses until Mercury Gate is deployed there.
• Coordinate activities related to the movement of goods across modes such as road, rail, sea, intermodal, parcel, air, and vessels.
• Work with customer service for tendering exception processes.
• Calculate freight costs for each movement, including all cost types.
• Pass relevant information to the accounts payable team for matching and payment.
