Operations Agent – Oceanto join our growing team in Rotterdam. If you thrive in a fast-paced environment and enjoy coordinating global shipments, this is your opportunity to grow with a world-class logistics provider.

• Coordinate day-to-dayimport and export ocean freight shipment sin and out of the Netherlands
• Communicate with customers, carriers, ports, and internal teams to ensure timely loading, departures, and arrivals
• Prepare accurate and profitable shipment quotations based on customer requirements
• Ensure all documentation, certificates, and regulatory requirements are in place for each shipment
• Track shipments, manage exceptions, and proactively resolve delays or issues
• Handle data entry, billing, and compliance for all international ocean operations
• Collaborate with sales and customer service teams to maintain high customer satisfaction
• Ensure adherence to customer SOPs, AIT KPIs, and regulatory standards
• Coordinate with international partners and cartage agents for delivery and recovery
• Support Dangerous Goods shipments in compliance with applicable laws (if applicable)
• Contribute to a safe and secure work environment by reporting risks and suggesting improvements

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• min. 3 years experience in international freight forwarding (ocean freight preferred)
• Strong problem-solvingandorganizationalskills
• Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a high-volume environment
• Fluent in English(spoken and written); additional European languages are a plus
• Proficient in Microsoft Office(Excel, Outlook, Word);
  Cargo Wise experience is a plus
• Familiarity with
  
  ITAR, TSA, or Dangerous Goods regulation sis an advantage
• Customer-focused mindset with excellent communication skills
• Quick learner, adaptable, and detail-oriented
