National Railroad Safety Services, Inc. (NRSS) is a certified DBE/WBE firm that provides safety services to the railroad industry across the continental United States, Canada, and Mexico. NRSS is recognized as a trusted name in the industry for qualifying field safety staff and delivering safety training.

Support railroad flagging services for Class 1 Railroads, Regional Short Lines, Transit Systems, State DOTs, and related contractors and consultants.

High School Diploma or Equivalent.

Minimum 2 years with a Class 1 Railroad or related organization. Preferably experience in the Maintenance Of Way Department.

• Provide jobsite coordination
• Maintain clear communication with dispatchers, train crews, other personnel, and contractors
• Deliver thorough job briefings at each site
• Enforce all railroad, state, and federal policies
• Identify and resolve rule violations according to regulations
• Enforce contractor training requirements
• Submit daily field reports detailing activities
• Provide on-track safety under 49 CFR 214

Field environment.

• Speak, read, and write clearly in English
• Drive long distances and travel by other modes as needed
• Stand for long periods; walk on level or uneven ground
