2nd Shift Monday - Friday 3:00 pm to 12:00 am

Priority Wire & Cable is currently in need of self-starters who can quickly contribute and complement our warehouse team. These positions offer overtime, fantastic benefits, and the opportunity to grow both professionally and personally.

Duties & Responsibilities

• Work at a fast pace and be flexible to work overtime as needed.
• Regular and reliable attendance is an essential function of this job.
• Have reliable transportation to and from work.
• Operate cutting equipment to process wire and cable orders for shipping.
• Use technology such as RF scanners, iPads, and handheld devices to sort, scan, and prepare orders for shipping.
• Assist customers with local will-call orders.
• Build, wrap, sort, and transport reels, pallets, and packages.
• Ship and receive truck deliveries.

You Will Also Need To Be Able To

• Lift up to 80 lbs.
• Stand, walk, push, pull, squat, bend, and reach during shifts.
• Use sit-down forklifts, dollies, and other equipment to move product within the facility.
• Be detail-oriented, able to multi-task, with attention to detail.

What is it like at a Priority Wire & Cable Warehouse?

• Safety – We provide all employees with proper PPE and hold monthly safety meetings.
• Surroundings – You will work around moving machines, forklifts, and heavy reels.
• Activity – Activities may require standing, cutting wire, pushing heavy reels, and getting dirty.
• Temperature – Non-climate controlled. Temperatures can reach up to 90°F in some parts and over 90°F in truck trailers.
• Noise Level – It can be noisy; we provide hearing protective gear if needed.
• Dress code – Relaxed with safety footwear required; annual voucher up to $125.00 for safety footwear; company shirts after first 90 days.

Requirements

• Candidates must be 18 years or older.
• Previous wire & cable experience is a plus.
