Position Summary
The Inventory Control Specialist is responsible for ensuring inventory accuracy through implementation of best practices, regular audits, and working with team members across the company to ensure standard operating procedures are followed with regards to inventory management. This position will operate under the umbrella of the GCI team, and will be expected to support GCI activities at the discretion of GCI leadership.

Position Duties
- Develop and implement inventory storage strategies for CS-owned, consignment, and client supplied inventory.
- Audit and reconcile inventory discrepancies to maintain accurate inventory records.
- Investigating discrepancies to determine root cause and provide recommendations for corrective action.
- Coordinating with warehouse staff on receiving, storing, labeling, and picking inventory.
- Inspecting received inventory for quality and damages, reporting results to procurement and/or account management.
- Process returns for CS and customer-supplied inventory.
- Ownership of Return-To-Stock (RTS) process for canceled orders and customer-supplied overages.
- Serve as a central point of contact for garment quality concerns; coordinating with Account Management, Procurement, Quality Control, and GCI on inspection process, communicating accurate results, and timely completion of inspection projects.
- Train team members on new system functionality related to inventory management.
- Create and/or update SOP documentation related to inventory management processes.
- Analyze and assist in internal & supply chain partnership problem solving
- Support GCI functions as directed by leadership.
- Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications/Skills
- Familiar with and comfortable working with CS Platform, Google Sheets, Slack, and other business technologies.
- Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals.
- Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions. Ability to interpret an extensive variety of technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form and deal with several abstract and concrete variables.
- Strong attention to detail, organizational, and record keeping skills.
