Warehouse Operations Team Lead

As a Warehouse Operations Team Lead, you will ensure the smooth operations and efficient functioning of the warehouse. You will be responsible for assisting a team of warehouse staff, overseeing their day-to-day activities, and ensuring that all tasks are completed accurately and in a timely manner. Your exceptional leadership skills, attention to detail, and ability to handle multiple tasks will contribute to the overall success of the warehouse.

• Directs, administers, and controls the day-to-day operations and activities of facilities and programs in an assigned area.
• Plan and prioritize work assignments for the team to ensure optimal workflow and productivity.
• Provides leadership, support and guidance to facility management.
• Monitor and enforce compliance with standard operation procedures (SOPs) to maintain quality control and accuracy of inventory.
• Train and develop team members on proper warehouse procedures, safety protocols, and company policies.
• Oversee inventory management and conduct regular cycle counts and audits to ensure inventory accuracy.
• Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and maintain a clean and organized warehouse environment.
• Prepare regular reports on warehouse performance, including productivity metrics, inventory levels, and order fulfilment rates.
• Process vendor returns as needed.
• Performs other related duties as assigned by management.

• Computer skills required:
  Inventory Management Software, Microsoft Office, and Microsoft Excel
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Able to manage time effectively.

• High school diploma or general education degree (GED), or one to three months related experience and/or training, or equivalent combination of education and experience.

• Finger Dexterity - Frequently required to utilize hand and finger dexterity

• Talking/Hearing - Frequently required to talk or hear
• Visual Accuity - Frequently utilize visual acuity to operate equipment, read technical information, and/or use a keyboard
• Lifting/Pushing/Carrying – Not required to lift more than 50 lbs. at a time with frequent lifting, pushing, or carrying of up to 30 lbs.
