* * JOB SUMMARY
** The Warehouse Agent is responsible for operational functions within the warehouse including Shipping and Receiving, inbound/outbound deliveries, pick and pack, and other functions.

Duties also include regular communication with carriers, the local transportation group and receivers.
** PRIMARY DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
*** Performs one or more warehouse operational functions within the guidelines of the facility (pick, pack, wrap and load orders for our customers)
* Receives and stows product
* Ensures inventory accuracy
* Unloads / loads trucks or containers, plus the building and breakdown of ULDs
* Schedules inbound deliveries using Advance Ship Notices
* Works within established SOP's and/or scientific methods and adheres to quality guidelines
* Demonstrates depth and breadth of knowledge or proficiency in several areas or in specialized areas of responsibility
* Accurately and efficiently performs several operational tasks assigned to the individual
* Operates multiple types of material handling/packaging/warehouse equipment
* Performs several specialized warehouse operations functions within the operating guidelines of the facility
* Demonstrates effective oral and written communication skills
* Perform weekly / monthly / annual cycle counts
* Completes other duties and tasks as assigned by management
** PHYSICAL DEMANDS
*** Work is performed while standing, sitting and/or walking
* Ability to occasionally lift up to 50 lbs. required.
* Ability to stand for 8-10 hours per day
* Ability to talk and hear required.
* Ability to communicate effectively using speech, vision and hearing
* Ability to use hands for simple grasping and fine manipulations
* Requires activities involving being around moving machinery, exposure to marked changes in temperature and humidity, and exposure to dust, fumes, and gases
* Ability to perform repetitive motions required.
* Ability to move or position self in order to reach, lift, climb, balance, stoop and crouch required.
* Ability to read PC screens; detect color coding, read fine print, and/or normal type size print required.

Minimum Qualifications
*** High School Diploma or GED
* Minimum of two to five (2-5) years’ experience
* Past or current Forklift Certification
** Preferred Qualifications
*** Experience in a fast-paced warehouse/production logistics environment
** SKILLS ESSENTIAL TO THE JOB
**** Technical
* ** Proven proficiency in an automated warehouse environment, working knowledge of WMS technologies.

Material handling equipment and personal computers with good working knowledge of MS Office Suite.
