Overview
Job Description As a Chemical Operator - Level 2 here at Honeywell, you will play a crucial role in the safe and efficient operation of chemical processes and equipment. You will be responsible for monitoring and controlling the production process, ensuring the quality and quantity of products, and maintaining a safe working environment. Your work directly impacts the production of high-quality chemicals and contributes to the success of our organization.
You will report directly to our Chemical Operations Manager and you'll work out of our Chickasaw, AL location on a full-time, on-site work schedule. In this role, you will impact the efficiency and effectiveness of our chemical production by ensuring the smooth operation of equipment and processes. Your attention to detail and adherence to safety protocols will contribute to the production of high-quality chemicals and the prevention of accidents or incidents.

- Monitor and control chemical processes and equipment to ensure safe and efficient operation.
- Follow standard operating procedures and safety protocols to maintain a safe working environment.
- Perform quality control checks to ensure the quality and quantity of products.
- Troubleshoot and resolve process issues to minimize downtime and maximize productivity.
- Maintain accurate production records and reports.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize production processes.
- Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance process efficiency and product quality.
- 2 or more years of experience as a Chemical Operator or in a similar role.
- Strong knowledge of chemical processes and equipment.
- Ability to follow standard operating procedures and safety protocols.
- Attention to detail and strong problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Experience in a chemical manufacturing environment.
- Knowledge of environmental, health, and safety regulations.
- Strong mechanical aptitude.
- Continuous improvement mindset.
Due to export control law, candidates must be a US Citizen, Permanent Resident or have protected status under asylum or refugee status.
