Sales Specialist

Premium Plate Supply is looking to grow our production and distribution capabilities and our capacity, so we need to add to our team as well! We need a self-motivated outside sales pro who knows steel and loves the industry. As a Sales Representative, your goal will be to expand our customer base and create and maintain long-term partnerships in the Northeastern states.

• Develop and promote sales objectives and maximizing sales opportunities and volume
• Identify and target potential clients, including manufacturers, distributors, and other steel industry stakeholders
• Conduct sales presentations, negotiate contracts, and close deals to meet or exceed sales targets
• Collaborating with the internal team to ensure seamless order processing, delivery, and customer satisfaction
• Cultivate lasting customer relationships, understand business needs of customers and grow customer loyalty.
• Know our industry. Stay updated on industry trends, market conditions, and competitive landscape to effectively position our products and services.
• Actively participate in trade shows, industry events, and networking opportunities to represent Premium Plate well, generate leads and enhance brand visibility
• Regular travel to customer locations, as required.

• Bachelor’s degree preferred, in Marketing, Business Administration or a relevant field
• Minimum of 5 years’ experience in sales
• 5 years experience in the coatings, plate fabrication, steel plate, steel mill, storage tank, and marine industries needed

• Exceptional negotiation and leadership skills
• Outstanding organizational, presentation and written and verbal skills
• Knowledge of sales and marketing strategy design and implementation.
• Strong full Microsoft Office Suite products skills, especially Power Point
