Position Profile:
The Standley Systems Connectivity Technician is responsible for, but not limited to, the equipment installation process from delivery to configuration. This position will report to the Imaging Implementation Manager.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Serve as on-site technician for equipment installation.
- Work as part of a team to complete equipment installation
- Basic understanding to configure print and scan devices with provided network information
- Basic understanding to install print drivers on Mac OS and Windows OS
- Basic understanding to configure scanning features given provided data & settings
- Record events, problems and the resolutions in the ticketing system
- Close calls daily by EOD.
- Maintain and clean company vehicle
- Drive and operate Box truck with lift gate
- Basic knowledge to configure fax functions on all devices.
- Operate Hand truck/dolly
- Operate mechanical pallet jack
- Utilize company vehicle to deliver, pickup, load/unload equipment
- Basic knowledge to configure print and scan devices from device or using web-interface
- Maintain and expand current technical knowledge by attending service training classes and meetings
- Basic understanding to use diagnostic tools and service aids to assess and resolve equipment and system failures
- Participate in team meetings (L-10's)
- Communicate with multiple teams to complete installs for customers
- Basic assembly of copiers
- Performing weekly service check on assigned delivery truck.
- Address Customer concerns and follow escalation procedures
- Provide feedback to management for process improvement
- Other duties as assigned.
