Maintenance Technician

We're seeking a dependable, self-motivated Maintenance Technician to join a growing operation. This is a hands-on role responsible for keeping industrial equipment, fleet vehicles, and facility machinery operating safely and efficiently through preventative maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs.

Responsibilities:

  • Perform preventative maintenance and repairs on industrial equipment, fleet vehicles, and facility machinery.
  • Troubleshoot and diagnose mechanical, hydraulic, electrical, and pneumatic issues.
  • Repair and maintain a variety of industrial processing equipment and mobile equipment.
  • Perform routine inspections to identify maintenance needs before equipment failures occur.
  • Replace bearings, belts, chains, hoses, cylinders, motors, and other mechanical components.
  • Complete minor welding and fabrication repairs as needed.
  • Assist with hydraulic and electrical troubleshooting and repairs.
  • Respond quickly to equipment breakdowns to minimize downtime.
  • Maintain accurate maintenance records and document completed repairs.
  • Keep shop tools and work areas clean, organized, and safe.
  • Follow all company safety procedures and maintenance best practices.

Qualifications:

  • Experience in industrial maintenance, heavy equipment repair, diesel mechanics, or a related field.
  • Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills.
  • Working knowledge of:
    • Hydraulics
    • Industrial mechanical systems
    • Welding
    • Electrical troubleshooting
    • Preventative maintenance
  • Comfortable using hand tools, power tools, diagnostic equipment, and shop equipment.
  • Ability to read equipment manuals, schematics, and repair documentation.
  • Self-motivated with the ability to work independently while managing multiple priorities.
  • Strong work ethic with a commitment to safety and quality workmanship.

Preferred Experience:

Experience working with one or more of the following:

  • Industrial balers
  • Shredders
  • Forklifts
  • Skid steers
  • Commercial trucks
  • Trailers
  • Industrial processing equipment

Physical Requirements:

  • Frequently lift up to 50 pounds.
  • Ability to stand, walk, bend, kneel, climb ladders, and work in confined spaces.
  • Comfortable working around industrial machinery in varying temperatures and environments.
