Service

Operates vehicles to transport parts, equipment, and supplies for the dealership. May instruct customers on basic equipment operating procedures. Maintains professional communication with all company locations to ensure information flows in an appropriate manner. Performs other basic duties for the parts, service, and sales departments.

Essential Duties:

• Transports equipment, parts, and supplies to/from customers and/or between dealer facilities.
• Accounts for all time on a timecard and for all distance travel in performing assigned duties.
• Instructs customers on basic equipment operating procedures as required.
• Maintains records of pickup and deliveries and obtains necessary signatures and receipts.
• Maintains assigned trucks and related equipment in good repair.
• Maintains all required certifications and documents in compliance with DOT, OSHA, and company policy.
• Operates a forklift.
• Light assembly of equipment.
• Performs lot and shop maintenance.
• Other duties as assigned by supervisor.

Qualifications:

• CDL license
• Excellent driving record.
• Minimum 1 year experience as semi-trailer truck operator.
• Basic ability to operate vehicles, tools and equipment used in machinery delivery.
• High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
