Material Handler

Job Description

• Inventory management: track stock levels, order supplies, and maintain accurate records to prevent shortages or overstock.
• Supervising staff: hire, train, schedule, and manage warehouse workers, including setting performance expectations.
• Overseeing receiving & shipping: ensure incoming goods are checked and stored properly, and outgoing orders are packed and dispatched on time.
• Warehouse organization: design efficient layouts for storage, improve picking/packing processes, and maximize space.
• Safety & compliance: enforce workplace safety standards (e.g., OSHA guidelines) and maintain a clean, hazard‑free environment.
• Process improvement: identify inefficiencies and implement better workflows or systems to increase productivity.
