Job/DepartmentSummary
Under the lead work direction of the Administrative Support Coordinator II (ASC II), the incumbent will perform day-to-day work independently, with general supervision. Duties include direct administrative support for the Mathematics and Statistics Department office and faculty, including support for the ASC II, SSP IV, and the Department Chair. The incumbent also provides supervision for student assistants and support for student-related functions, including handling all student inquiries.
Incumbent also maintains financial information and associated documents, performs reception responsibilities, makes purchases, assists with maintaining and reconciling aspects of the department budgets, is fluent in ALEKS testing systems, and oversees website maintenance.
Education and Experience
This position requires fully functional knowledge of and skill in standard office procedures and practices, as well as an ability to understand and operate in a variety of organizational structures. These qualifications, and those listed above, would normally be obtained through completion of a high school program, technical/vocational program, or their equivalents combined with three years of related office work experience.
Preferences- One-year administrative support experience, working in an academic department.
- Working knowledge of applicable University infrastructure, policies, and procedures.

CSU Classification Salary Range$44,520 (Step
1) - $64,860 (Step 20) per year.
