Escrow Assistant – In Office | Chico, CA

Join First American’s Direct division in Chico, CA to support our Escrow team in a dynamic, fast‑paced environment.

• Assist in the escrow process such as opening orders, inputting closing statement information, and preparing documents for closing.
• Manage the complete disbursement and follow‑up.
• Communicate regularly with customers during the escrow process flow.
• Interpret various agreements as they relate to escrow closings.
• Use technology to enable escrow transactions and ensure a phenomenal customer experience.

• Passion for helping customers with a professional and positive attitude.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills with internal teams and external customers.
• Problem‑solving ability, strong organizational skills, attention to detail, curiosity, and eagerness to learn.
• Team‑oriented mindset, contributing to deliver beyond customer expectations.
• Proficiency with MS Office suite and the ability to quickly adapt to new software applications.
• High school diploma or equivalent; 2+ years of escrow‑related experience preferred.

$20.31 – $27.09 hourly.
