Under the general supervision of the Vice President for University Advancement (VPUA), the incumbent serves as the Executive Assistant to the VPUA and provides executive administrative support, logistics support, operational support, and communications support to the Office of the VPUA and the Executive Director of Development. The role works closely with other Vice Presidents, Associate Vice Presidents, the Office of the President, and the CSU Chancellor’s Office.
Responsibilities include managing executive scheduling and communications, coordinating meetings and events, maintaining accurate donor and constituent records in the CRM system, and supporting daily office operations. The position also supports fundraising and donor engagement by coordinating agendas and logistics for development events, donor visits, and recognition programs; it assists with the implementation of University Foundation Board of Governors meetings and function under the guidance of the board and Project Manager.
In addition, the role supports division‑wide initiatives related to employee engagement and satisfaction, contributing to the overall effectiveness and mission‑driven success of University Advancement.
Must possess the knowledge, skills, abilities, and/or experience to be fully proficient in performing the assignments of this position. Requires a bachelor’s degree in a related discipline and two years of recent related experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
