None Job Shift: Day The Content Writer is responsible for planning, creating, proofreading, and editing product descriptions and attributes for the website. Utilizing internal brand guidelines, product information, and research, this role creates clear, compelling, and on-brand product content that helps customers understand products and supports conversion. This role works cross-functionally with the Creative, Merchandising, and Receiving Teams to ensure product information and copy are accurate, consistent, optimized for search, and published on time.

Schedule:

The role follows a hybrid schedule based out of our Chico office, working onsite Tuesday through Thursday during standard business hours (approximately 9:00 AM–5:00 PM), with Monday and Friday remote.

• Create accurate, on-brand, and compelling product descriptions and attributes for online site content that highlight product features and benefits and support customer purchase decisions
• Research, create, and edit new, on-brand product copy that is consistent with the Lulus voice
• Proofread and QA product descriptions and attributes to ensure accuracy, consistency, grammar, spelling, punctuation, and overall quality
• Optimize copy for search engine visibility, including incorporating relevant keywords and metadata to improve search rankings and drive organic traffic
• Work with cross-functional partners and collaborate with the Creative Operations team to facilitate the product onboarding process
• Enhance existing product copy based on customer insights, performance data, and established content best practices to support conversion
• Manage multiple projects simultaneously, prioritizing tasks and deadlines effectively to meet deliverables and project timelines and maintaining a high level of quality
• Other copy-related projects, clean-ups, and audits as needed

• 1 - 2 years of experience professional writing, content creation, copywriting, or related experience
• Knowledge of fashion terminology, trends, fabrics, and brands
• Strong writing skills with the ability to produce concise, compelling, and inspirational product copy for our customers
• Exceptional proofreading and editing skills, with a strong command of grammar, spelling, punctuation, and attention to detail
• Creative thinking and ability to generate innovative ideas and concepts that align with brand objectives and customer preferences
• Excellent organization and prioritization skills
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams
• Strong editorial judgment and the ability to adapt writing style and messaging based on product, audience, and channel
• Works well under pressure, with the ability to meet multiple, sometimes competing deadlines
• Ability to take initiative in troubleshooting issues as they arise and apply logical thinking to a wide range of practical problems
• Proficiency with standard business and digital content tools, with the ability to learn and navigate content management systems and other role-specific platforms

• College degree in Journalism, English, Creative Writing, Advertising, Communication, Fashion, or a related field
• A passion for the Lulus brand
• Experience in retail or e-commerce
• Basic knowledge of SEO principles, keyword optimization, and digital content best practices
