Overview

We are a dentist recruiting company working with a premier private office that is seeking a full time dentist. The office is adding a dentist due to high demand. They have been in the community for over 20 years and have established a wonderful reputation.

Office and Facilities

The office is a gorgeous state of the art office. They have an iTero, Nomad Pro, TRIOS 5, CBCT sprint ray 3D printer, intraoral iCam, PANO machine, trios scanner, CEREC machine, censor, nomads for x-rays, Auto Clave, Statum, ultrasonic shaker for sterilization, Windows 10 Workstations with Open Dental and Dexis. They also have a very experienced and tenured staff.

Practice Model

This is a fee for service and PPO office. No Medicaid and no HMOs are accepted. Bread and butter procedures are all that is required, but of course the more procedures a dentist can perform the better. They do both restorative and cosmetic dentistry, so there is an opportunity to place implants.

Clinical Autonomy and Mentoring

The associate would have full clinical autonomy. There is also excellent mentoring in many advanced procedures if interested. There can be future buy in opportunity as well if interested but certainly not required.

Associate Dentist Responsibilities
  • Examining patients' teeth and gums to diagnose and treat various oral health issues.
  • Utilizing X-rays and computer-generated imaging to assist with examinations.
  • Providing dental treatments to patients, including routine cleanings, extractions, dental fillings, cavity, and tooth decay treatments, teeth whitening, bonding, and applications of dental crowns, caps, and veneers.
  • Administering local anesthesia to patients as needed.
  • Educating patients on good oral hygiene practices and advising them on proper aftercare following certain dental procedures.
  • Performing oral cancer screenings.
  • Prescribing antibiotics and pain medications to patients as required.
  • Ensuring that all dental instruments and equipment are sterilized before each use.
  • Taking impressions of patients' mouths for the fabrication of customized mouth guards and dentures.

Associate Dentist Requirements
  • Doctor of dental surgery (DDS) or doctor of medicine in dentistry (DMD).
  • State license to practice dentistry.
  • CPR certification.
  • Proven experience working in a dental practice.
  • The ability to use various dental instruments and equipment.
  • The ability to remain calm in stressful situations.

    The ability to work in a team.
  • Good hand-eye coordination.
  • Excellent communication skills.
