Minimum Qualifications:

The minimum education requirement for a lecturer appointment is MS In Nutritional Science.

Preferred Qualifications:

Previous teaching experience in nutritional science, Registered Dietitian Nutritionist credential, professional work experience in the field.

Responsibilities:

Lecturer positions in the department carry responsibilities in the areas of teaching. Teaching assignments are based upon qualifications of the individual and the needs of the department.

The Department:

The Department of Nutrition and Food Science (http://(Use the "Apply for this Job" box below).) in the College of Natural Sciences (http://) includes nine full-time faculty, about 30 graduate students, and 160 undergraduate majors and offers programs leading to a bachelor's and master's degree. Its' faculty represent a wide range of interests. Department programs include General Dietetics, Food and Nutrition Communication, and Nutrition Management and are enhanced by laboratories for courses and research in foods, food science, nutrition, and community nutrition.
