• Lecturer B/3: $6,221 – $13,224 per month

• Lecturer D/5: $8,593 – $15,211 per month

The School of Social Work in the College of Behavioral & Social Sciences is collecting application materials for a pool of lecturers with positions available as determined by need during the 2026-27 academic year and the state-supported Summer 2026 term. Appointments from the lecturer pool are temporary and often made just prior to the start of the academic term.

The minimum education requirement for a lecturer appointment is a Masters of Social Work degree. For some courses, an exception may be made for someone who possess a degree in a related/relevant field. In addition, candidates must have a minimum of two years post‑MSW degree social work professional experience.

A PhD is preferred. Experience teaching is a plus.

Lecturer positions in the department carry responsibilities in the areas of teaching. Teaching assignments are based upon qualifications of the individual and the needs of the department.
