Salary:
Salary commensurate with education and experience (anticipated range: $74,652 – $89,772 per year)
- Completed 3‑year Master’s or Education Specialist degree (e.g., School Psychology) or a doctoral degree in psychology, education, or a related field. Candidates nearing completion of the doctoral degree may be considered; all requirements for conferral must be met no later than the start date of the position.
- For candidates with a Master’s or Education Specialist degree: current California credentialing/licensing as a School Psychologist, Psychologist, or Licensed Educational Psychologist; at least three years of professional work experience as a School Psychologist in pre‑K‑12 schools; experience in delivering undergraduate/graduate instruction or professional development; a record and/or plan for research and/or scholarly activities.
- For candidates with a doctoral degree: CA credentialing/licensing, or intention to obtain it, as a School Psychologist, Psychologist, or Licensed Educational Psychologist; must achieve credentialing/licensure by the end of the third year to continue employment. Experience in delivering undergraduate/graduate instruction or professional development; a record and/or plan for research and/or scholarly activities.
- Train and supervise school psychology graduate students.
- Develop and maintain a successful program of research or scholarly activity; seek external funding.
- Provide service to support the administrative and advising needs of the School Psychology program.
- Collaborate with faculty and staff coordinating the program; potential development of program leadership.
- Maintain student‑centered teaching practices that support diverse student success.
- Teaching assignments based upon qualifications and departmental needs.
