Lecturer B/3 (Full-Time Equivalent): $6,221 – $13,224 per month
Lecturer C/4 (Full-Time Equivalent): $6,825 – $14,523 per month
Lecturer D/5 (Full-Time Equivalent): $8,593 – $15,211 per month
Anticipated hiring range is generally at or near the minimum of the appropriate range, commensurate with education and experience. Most new lecturers are hired at the Lecturer A or B rank.

Position SummaryInternational Education and Global Engagement is collecting application materials for a pool of lecturers with positions available as determined by need during the 2026-27 academic year. We are looking for instructors to teach in person, in order to support first‑term international students (1‑unit course) and/or Study Abroad & Exchange returnees (1‑3 unit internship course). Appointments from the lecturer pool are temporary and often made just prior to the start of the academic term.
Minimum Qualifications- Master’s degree preferred but not mandatory.
- Extensive experience working with international students and scholars, international education systems, intercultural communication pedagogy, or student mobility programs.
- Relevant applied experience will be evaluated as a substitute for formal postgraduate qualifications.
- Evidence of teaching and/or international education experience, including inclusive and cross‑cultural pedagogies and experience working with international students and/or study abroad alumni.
- Teach in‑person courses for first‑term international students (1‑unit) and/or Study Abroad & Exchange returnees (1‑3 unit internship).
- Follow Faculty Personnel Policies & Procedures for teaching assignments based upon qualifications and program needs.
