Job Title
Located at the Adult Transition Center. Under general supervision, to perform a variety of instructional support duties, including providing instructional assistance to individual or small groups of students in special education programs, performing clerical duties, and driving a District vehicle over designated routes to transport students and others to and from school and various program sites.
Requirements / QualificationsCandidates who submit proof, with the application, of one of the following will not need to take the Competency Exam:
- 48+ college units
- Proof of passing CBEST
- Valid CA teaching credential If you do not have any of the above mentioned items and have not previously passed the District's Competency Exam, you will have to take the Competency Exam. A study guide is available for this exam and can be obtained by emailing ahoff.
Experience:
- Some experience working in an organized education or childcare setting.
- Two (2) years of experience in the operation of a motor vehicle and a continuous good driving record.
- Experience driving a van is highly desirable.
- Must be at least 25 years of age.
- Applicants must possess an appropriate, valid California Class C driver's license.
