Make a direct difference in student growth and well-being by providing expert psychological support in a flexible, school-based setting. A part-time School Psychologist is needed to enrich educational outcomes and foster positive learning environments for K-12 students in California. With a schedule of just 2-2.5 days each week, this contract role fits perfectly for professionals seeking meaningful impact while maintaining excellent work-life balance.

Your expertise will help shape individual success stories as you:

  • Conduct thorough psycho educational assessments for students with diverse needs, including learning, behavioral, and social-emotional challenges
  • Recommend evidence-based interventions, accommodations, and supports for special education services
  • Collaborate closely with teachers, families, administrators, and community partners to promote optimal student outcomes
  • Facilitate and participate in Individualized Education Program (IEP) meetings, preparing documentation and supporting seamless communication
  • Guide educators on instructional strategies, behavioral interventions, IEP implementation, and effective parent interaction
  • Coordinate new student referrals and support families through the referral and placement process
  • Maintain meticulous documentation in compliance with state and school guidelines
  • Provide consultation to students, families, and educational teams on developmental, academic, and behavioral needs
  • Serve as administrative designee when necessary
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree required
  • Specialist-level graduate degree in School Psychology, such as Ed.S., or a Master’s with at least 60 graduate units
  • Current California credential for School Psychology services
  • Certified copy of transcripts
  • Background in psychological assessment and special education support preferred
  • Outstanding communication, collaboration, and organizational abilities
