• Lead the planning, design, and implementation of civil engineering projects, including roads, bridges, and drainage systems.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop project specifications, budgets, and timelines.
• Conduct site assessments and feasibility studies to determine project viability and compliance with local regulations.
• Prepare detailed engineering drawings and specifications using advanced design software.
• Review and approve project plans and designs, ensuring adherence to industry standards and best practices.
• Manage project schedules and resources, ensuring timely completion of milestones and deliverables.
• Liaise with clients, contractors, and regulatory agencies to facilitate project approvals and resolve any issues that arise.
• Mentor and guide junior engineers and interns, fostering a culture of learning and development within the team.
• Stay current with industry trends, technologies, and regulations to ensure the company remains competitive and compliant.
• Prepare and present technical reports and proposals to stakeholders, effectively communicating complex engineering concepts.
• Participate in project meetings and provide updates on progress, challenges, and solutions to ensure transparency and alignment.
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of engineering processes and methodologies within the organization.

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a related field; a Master's degree is a plus.
• A minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in civil engineering, with a focus on infrastructure projects.
• Professional Engineer (PE) license is required; additional certifications are advantageous.
• Proficiency in engineering design software such as AutoCAD, Civil 3D, or similar tools.
• Strong understanding of local, state, and federal regulations governing civil engineering projects.
• Excellent project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Strong analytical and problem solving abilities, with a keen attention to detail.
• Effective communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to present complex information clearly.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and build strong relationships with clients and stakeholders.

• Experience with sustainable design practices and green building standards.
• Familiarity with Geographic Information Systems (GIS) and their application in civil engineering.
• Knowledge of construction management principles and practices.
• Previous experience in a leadership or supervisory role within an engineering firm.
• Membership in professional organizations such as ASCE or similar.
