We are looking for a dynamic
Human Resources Generalist
to be the expert in partnering with managers and employees to provide guidance,consultation, and support in employee relations, employment law, leave administration, workplace investigation, policy interpretation, and HR compliance. This role workscollaborativelywith leadersacrossthe organization to promote consistent, fair, and legalcompliantemployment practices while supporting positive employee experiences through the employee lifecycle.
Partner with managers and employees to resolve workplace concerns while promotingpositiverelationships
Provide case-by-case coaching and consultation to managersregardingemployee relations, performance management,documentation, corrective action, and employment law
Interpret and apply organizational policies, procedures, and employment laws to ensureconsistentdecision-making
Build collaborative relationships with managers and employees while serving as a trusted HR resource
Conduct prompt,objective, andthoroughworkplace investigations involving employee complaints, policy violations, harassment, discrimination, retaliation, and other workplace concerns
Gather, analyze, and document information whilemaintainingconfidentiality and impartiality
Monitor employee relations trends andidentifyopportunities to reduce organizational risk
Support compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws through consistent application of Human Resources practices
Administer federal andstateleave programs, including FMLA, CFRA,Pregnancy Disability Leave, military leave, and other protected leaves
Coordinate the interactive process and reasonable accommodation request in collaboration with managers and employees
Maintainaccurateleavedocumentationand ensure compliance with applicable employment laws
Support implementation of Human Resources policies, procedures, and organizational initiatives
Deliver training and educational session for managers andemployeesand employment law, organizational policies, processes, and compliance topics
Collaborate with the HR Manager and HR Director on projects that strengthen
Human Resources programs and organizational effectiveness2
Excellent analytical, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills with the ability to assess complex situations and develop practical, compliant solutions.
Exceptional written, verbal, presentation, and interpersonal communication skills, with the ability to communicate effectively across all levels of the organization.
Proven ability to build collaborative, trusting relationships with employees, managers, and organizational leaders.
Strong consultation and coaching skills, with the ability to guide managers through complex Human Resources matters while promoting sound judgment, consistency, and accountability.
Ability to effectively manage multiple priorities, balance competing deadlines, and adapt to changing business needs.
Excellent organizational and time management skills with strong attention to detail and follow-through.
Advancedproficiencywith Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint.
Ability to exercise sound judgment,maintain confidentiality, and handle sensitive information with professionalism and discretion.
Self-motivated with the ability to work independently while also contributing effectively as part of a collaborative HR team.

Location:
Chico, CA / Hybrid Pay Rate:$28.00- $32.00 per hour
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resourcesor similar
Minimum three (3) years of progressively responsible Human Resource experience
Experience in employee relations, leave administration, workplace investigation, and employment law preferred
Working knowledge of Human Resources Information Systems (HRIS) and the ability to effectivelyutilizeHR technology to support assigned Human Resources programs.
