• A clerical position supervised by the Case Management Supervisor for Unit 430.
• Intake Support Assistant is the support system to the Intake Specialist.
• This position is distinguished from other classes within the series by the level of knowledge required, contact with the public, responsibility assumed, degree of confidentiality, complexity of duties assigned, and by the level of independence of actions taken.
• Employees perform specific and separate duties and more difficult and responsible types of duties assigned to the Intake Unit.
• Employees at this level are required to be fully trained in all procedures related to the assigned area of responsibility.
• Requires ability to set priorities and manage a variety of duties.
• Must be able to work with a fair degree of independence.
• Qualifications include the equivalent to graduation from the 12th grade and two years of related experience.
• Minimum required typing speed 55 w.p.m.
• Must demonstrate fluency in English and Spanish to qualify for bilingual compensation (ability to speak, read, and write).

HOURS
Full Time - 39 hours per week
