Maintenance Technician Assistant

Compensation

$22 per hour

Under the supervision and at the direction of a higher-level Maintenance Technician, provides less complicated repairs and preventative maintenance.

• Exterior painting of curbs, speed bumps as necessary
• On a daily basis, maintains common areas on the property including laundry room(s), office, community room, mailbox area(s), parking lots and carports, trash and recycling enclosures
• Keep trash and recycling areas clean
• Winter: snow and ice response, as necessary
• Minor maintenance requests as directed by maintenance team
• Assist Maintenance Technicians with an annual preventative maintenance program consisting of unit inspections

The requirements listed below are representative, but not exclusive of the knowledge, skill and/or ability required.

• Must be able to lift up to 75 pounds
• Must be able to read and understand written instructions
• Must have the ability to complete reports
• Ability to communicate effectively with residents
