We ve grown to become one of the recognized and celebrated builders in the region over the past 8 decades with successfully completed projects spanning Northern CA and beyond. We re seeking an experienced Project Manager to join our team in Chico!

Since 1946, our company has successfully completed over 4,000 projects and counting across California, Nevada, Oregon, and Montana. Although the vast majority of our work is focused in Northern California, work in these neighboring states is the direct result of satisfied clients who have requested our services on subsequent projects. Our ownership group is all active and hands-on, engaged in our projects daily, and we also employ over 40 carpenters, concrete finishers, and laborers.

This allows us to excel in a wide array of projects ranging from 1,000-foot tenant improvements and remodels to large-scale ground-up projects.

• Oversee and supervise construction progress and directly manage field operations.
• Develop and maintain the project schedule.
• Understand and implement purchase orders with vendors and suppliers.
• Understand and implement subcontract agreements.
• Manage the Requests for Information, Potential Change Orders, Clarifications, etc. as they pertain to the project documents.
• Conduct safety inspections and implement Company Safety Program and training.
• Implement Quality Assurance and Quality Control documents.
• Review and process As-Built drawings.
• Manage material and equipment logistics, and maintain project inventory.
• Maintain effective and professional relationships with owners, engineers and contractors.
• Coordinate meeting agendas and prepare meeting minutes when required.
• Evaluate submittals of shop drawings, material data and samples, and take appropriate action based on contract documents.

• Bachelor s Degree in Engineering, Architecture, Construction Management, or a related field of study
• 5+ years of commercial construction experience at a General Contractor
• A minimum of 3 years of experience as a Project Manager supervising project teams
• Extensive experience with large-scale commercial projects (ground-up and structural project experience in the $25+ MIL range strongly preferred)
• Thorough understanding of all project management control systems (scheduling, cost control, procurement and estimating)
• Proficient in MS Office Suite and with P6 scheduling software (or equivalent)
