Construction Project Manager

Compensation: $130,000 to $150,000 base salary plus benefits

We are seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead commercial construction projects in the Chico and surrounding areas. This is an opportunity to join a growing general contractor with a strong pipeline of ground up and renovation work across commercial, industrial, and institutional sectors.

The Project Manager will be responsible for overseeing projects from preconstruction through closeout, ensuring schedule, budget, quality, and client satisfaction goals are achieved.

• Manage full project lifecycle from buyout through final completion
• Develop and maintain project schedules and budgets
• Lead subcontractor procurement, scope review, and contract administration
• Oversee cost control, change management, and forecasting
• Coordinate with field leadership to ensure safety, quality, and production goals are met
• Lead owner and architect meetings and maintain strong client relationships
• Review drawings and specifications to ensure scope completeness
• Ensure compliance with local codes, inspections, and permitting requirements
• Drive project closeout including punch list, turnover documentation, and final billing

• 5 plus years of experience as a Project Manager on commercial or industrial construction projects
• Experience managing ground up projects preferred
• Strong knowledge of site work, concrete, structural systems, and MEP coordination
• Proficiency with Procore, Bluebeam, MS Project or similar software
• Strong financial acumen including budgeting and cost forecasting
• Excellent communication and leadership skills
• Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management or related field preferred
