Job Description American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Cardiovascular Unit (CVU) position in California, requiring a current CA RN license and a minimum of 2 years of critical care experience. Responsibilities 30-bed Cardiovascular Unit (CVU) serving medium to high acuity patients in a hospital setting Patient population ranges from young adults to geriatric patients with cardiac diagnoses, including pre/post CABG, carotid endarterectomy, acute MI, post-pacemaker insertion, arrhythmia detection, CHF, and pneumonia Patient-to-nurse ratio not to exceed 1:4 Epic EMR experience required 12-hour day shifts with a 0700 start time Floating to other units, including Med/Surg, required as needed Provide nursing care to stable patients with a high potential to become unstable, complex comorbidities, and needs exceeding general patient care units Cardiovascular sub-specialties covered include CPCU, Cardiovascular ICU, CCU, CVICU, and Cardiac Telemetry Requirements Active CA RN license currently in hand Current certifications: BLS and ACLS Minimum 2 years of critical care experience required Epic EMR experience required Must be a W-2 employee of their agency Benefits High Pay and Bonuses Medical, Dental and Vision Insurance with Day 1 Options 401(k) Plan Weekly Payroll Deposit Free Online CEUs Generous Housing Allowance Travel and Licensure Reimbursements Non-taxed Per Diem and Subsidy Traveler Rewards and Discounts American Traveler Job  P-676321.
