RN-Perioperative, Surgery Temporary

Enloe Health, a Level II Trauma Center in Northern California, is seeking a Registered Nurse for our main OR. Compensation range: $55.93 - $79.75 per hour based on experience.

Registered Nurse (OR) providing patient care in accordance with the standards, policies, and practices of Enloe Medical Center. Prioritizes patient needs, coordinates care, and collaborates with the patient care team.

Shift: 06:30 - 15:00. Shift length 8 hours. Days off:
Variable. Hours per pay period: 80.

• Two years of current/recent perioperative experience.
• Experience working in an OR environment.

• Current California Board of Registered Nursing licensure.
• Current CPR, ACLS within 1 year of employment.
• PALS within 1 year of employment.
• Certified Nurse Operating Room (CNOR) desired.

• Technical competence, professional clinical judgement, and communication skills.
• Provides compassionate, sensitive care to patients and families in crisis.
• Effectively communicates with physicians, staff, patients, and the public.
• Organizes and prioritizes work efficiently.
• Maintains calm, efficient, and focused performance in a demanding environment.
• Communicates effectively verbally and in writing.
• Actively participates in continuing education programs, unit‑based QI task forces, and preceptor programs.
• Performs as a preceptor in training of students and new employees; serves as department resource and positive role model.
• Performs proficiently at intermediate and advanced levels, meeting competency requirements and essential functions.
