We are seeking an experienced Operating Room Registered Nurse for a 13‑week contract opportunity in Chico, California. This role supports outpatient surgery in a Level II Trauma Center setting and may require floating to the main OR as needed.

• Provide perioperative nursing care in the outpatient surgery setting.
• Support operating room circulation and/or scrub duties as assigned.
• Prepare patients, equipment, instruments, and surgical rooms for procedures.
• Assist surgical teams during procedures while maintaining sterile technique.
• Monitor patient safety and support smooth surgical workflow.
• Document care accurately using EPIC.
• Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesia providers, nurses, and OR staff.
• Float to the main OR as needed.

• Active California Registered Nurse license required.
• BLS/BCLS certification required.
• ACLS certification preferred.
• PALS certification preferred.
• Minimum 2 years of recent OR experience required.
• EPIC experience required.
• Successful completion of prior travel assignments required.
• Operating Room circulate, scrub, or perioperative experience preferred.
• Must be a W‑2 employee of the agency.
• Day shift, weekend, and holiday coverage availability may be required.
