Requirements- Lead perioperative teams during weekend day shifts, ensuring safe, efficient OR flow
- Coordinate staff assignments and resources as the charge nurse for the shift
- Oversee patient care delivery in the operating room and communicate priorities clearly
- Troubleshoot operational issues and escalate appropriately to maintain continuity of care
- Mentor and support perioperative staff, promoting best practices and team development
- Ensure compliance with infection control, sterile technique, and OR safety protocols
- Communicate effectively with surgeons, anesthesia, and ancillary services to optimize patient outcomes
- Current California RN license (required)
- Current CPR and ACLS certifications (required)
- Minimum one year of current perioperative charge nurse or relief charge nurse experience (required)
- CNOR certification (desired)
- Two or more years of Critical Care experience (desired)
- Strong leadership, communication, and team coordination skills
