Compensation & Schedule

Compensation range: $53.78 - $76.66 per hour, based on applicable experience.

Shift: Days (12 hours). Days off:
Variable.

Sign‑on bonus:
Up to $3,000.

Hours per pay period: 72.

The Registered Nurse – Enloe Surgery Main OR provides patient care in accordance with the standards, policies, and practices of Enloe Medical Center, prioritizes patient needs, coordinates and collaborates with other members of the patient care team to deliver the medical plan of care.

• Two years current/recent perioperative experience.
• Experience working in an OR environment.

• Minimum:
  Current licensure with the California Board of Registered Nursing.
• Minimum:
  Current CPR, ACLS, and PALS within 1 year of employment.
• Desired:
  Certified Nursing Operating Room (CNOR).

• Demonstrate technical competence, professional clinical judgment, communication skills, and sensitivity for the patient and family in crisis.
• Interact professionally and effectively communicate with physicians, staff, patients, and the public.
• Organize and prioritize work efficiently.
• Remain calm, efficient, and focused in a demanding environment.
• Communicate effectively verbally and in writing.
• Actively participate in continuing education programs, unit‑based QI task forces, and preceptor programs.
• Perform as a preceptor for students and new employees, act as a department resource and positive role model.
• Perform proficiently at intermediate and advanced levels and meet competency requirements.
• Perform the essential functions of the position.
