RN Infusion Therapy

Job Summary:

The RN Infusion Therapy is responsible for providing specialized nursing care to patients receiving infusion therapy treatments. This includes administering medications, monitoring patient’s vital signs, and educating patients on their treatment plan.

Responsibilities

Administer IV medications and fluids per physician’s orders.

Monitor patients for any adverse reactions to infusion therapy.

Educate patients on their treatment plan and any potential side effects.

Document patient assessments, treatments, and outcomes.

Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient care.

Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records.

Follow all safety protocols and infection control procedures.

Provide emotional support and guidance to patients and their families.

Qualifications

Valid RN license.

Certification in infusion therapy preferred.

Prior experience in infusion therapy or critical care nursing.

Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Attention to detail and strong organizational skills.

Ability to prioritize and multitask in a fast-paced environment.
