Position available:
Registered Nurse First Assist (RNFA) in Chico, CA.
Shift details include 8- or 10-hour days starting at 06:30, with alternating weekends. This is a 16-week contract with a strong possibility of extension.
Compensation includes:- Gross pay: $4120 to $4285 weekly
- Joining bonus: $700
- Assignment completion bonus: $700
The RNFA is a licensed professional who provides direct patient care in the perioperative setting, functioning as a first assistant to the surgeon. This role requires an expanded knowledge base, skills, and judgment to assist the surgeon effectively. The RNFA operates under the supervision of the surgeon in both the Operating Room and Labor and Delivery Suite.
Requirements include:- Certified Nurse Operating Room (CNOR)
- Current licensure with the California Board of Registered Nursing
- Current CPR certification
- Current ACLS recognition
